HISTORY

HERITAGE, CHANGE AND THE FUTURE.

Like many enduring businesses, the story of Keith Gotts began in the most modest of settings. In the early days, Keith and his wife Linda worked out of a pair of railway arches in London. This was a space that was functional, but far from glamorous. Yet it was here that the name began to mean something in Land Rover circles.

As the customer base expanded, so too did the ambition, and the business soon relocated to Battersea Bridge Road. This move marked a significant step in establishing Keith Gotts as a respected and recognisable presence, not just in London but among Land Rover owners across the UK.

However, growth inevitably brings constraints. Development pressures in the area meant expansion was limited, and the search for more space became entirely inevitable.

The next chapter took the Gotts to a yard near Bordon in Hampshire, but even with two sites in operation, it was clear that the business had outgrown its surroundings once again.

The eventual solution came in the form of a disused pig farm on Old Odiham Road in Alton. Not many would have thought that four acres of potential would become what we know today. This location allowed the business to evolve into one of the largest independent Land Rover & Range Rover specialists in the country, with a parts department that could supply everything from a Series I bolt to the latest Land Rover and Range Rover components.

In a sense, this history reflects a theme of

ADAPTATION & GROWTH.

Each move responding to both opportunity and limitation, with growth fuelled by true demand and vision. In short, Keith Gotts will always continue to evolve.

PASSING THE TORCH

Sometimes, the seeds of the future are planted in candid and unsuspecting moments. Four years ago, The Workshop owner Tyrone Gericke visited Keith Gotts to buy parts and joked to Keith: “When the time comes, give me a call. I’d love to take over the business.” It was said lightly, but it was certainly not forgotten by Keith himself.

In February 2025, that call came. On the 26th, ownership of Keith Gotts was passed to Casalee Ltd, bringing it under the same banner as its sister brand, The Workshop in Mill Lane. While The Workshop is known for servicing all makes and models, MOTs, and repairs, Keith Gotts retains its deep specialism in Land Rover and Range Rover service, parts, and restoration. This new chapter is one of collaboration, with two brands with their own identities, but a shared commitment to quality and genuine customer care.

A NEW DIRECTION WITHOUT LOSING THE PAST

Under new ownership, the emphasis is not on replacing what came before, but on building upon Keith Gotts legacy. A marketing manager has joined the team, tasked with refreshing the brand’s presence and expanding its reach beyond Hampshire. The focus is firmly on digitisation, harnessing social media, producing engaging video content, and capturing high-quality photography to tell the Keith Gotts story in a way that speaks to both long-standing customers and a new audience.

The brand is currently operating under a placeholder logo while discussions are underway to develop a refreshed identity. This will balance heritage, decades of trust and expertise along with a forward-looking style that reflects where the business is heading. Alongside the branding, the site itself is planned to undergo repainting and renovation, ensuring that the customer experience reflects the professionalism and care found in the workshop.
